Get or Give up to a 100% Bonus when you buy or gift miles
US Airways has come out with a catchy Buy Miles Promotion for the month of March urging members to “Try your luck during the Mystery Bonus event.”
From today until March 26, 2014, US Airways is offering a 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% bonus match for buying or gifting miles! To find out your mystery bonus miles, simply enter your Dividend Miles information on the US Airways Buy Miles page. I checked mine and was happy to see that I qualify for a 100% bonus should I choose to buy or gift miles. Quite frankly, if the offered bonus were 25% or 50%, I don’t think I would even consider taking advantage of this offer. May the Luck of the Irish definitely be with you on this one!
US Airways miles normally sell for 3.75 cents per mile (with a 7.5% tax) and with this promotion, the cost comes down to half of that, or 1.88 cents per mile. If you were to buy 50,000 your total cost for miles, including taxes and fees would be $1881.25. This can be a really good deal if you choose to redeem for a premium cabin award flight.
Keep in mind that with the merger well under way, your US Airways miles can be used for American Airlines redemption.

Anyone knows how many times each member eligible for the 100% bonus can buy?
You are only allowed to receive up to a maximum 50k mile bonus….once. Buyer or Giftee.
