WestJet Gives an Incredible Father’s Day Gift!
WestJet is known for some phenomenal surprises for its passengers including last year’s Christmas gift surprise where they surprised passengers with gifts after a flight. The airline set up video booths in Toronto and Hamilton, Ontario, where guests scanned their boarding passes and recorded their Christmas wishes before heading on a four-hour cross-country flight to Calgary. When they deplaned and went to pick up their luggage at the baggage claim area, the passengers received everything from socks to televisions.
WestJet has recently partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities in Canada to provide flights for families who are having to spend time away from home with sick children.
This video, made for Father’s Day, has to be one of their best surprises yet. A WestJet customer service employee, Medel Villena, underwent training in order to step in and work at this man’s job as a transit worker for a week so that he could visit his child who was being treated in Edmonton. What a heart this airline has!
