Earn  extra Gold Points …

Get a jump start on earning Gold Points this year. Be sure to check your email to see if you have received a notice from Club Carlson to Register for the Extend Your Stay, Earn 30K promotion.  Register by January 12 and stay between that date and March 29, 2015 for a chance to earn up to 30K bonus Gold Points on top of your regular 20 points per dollar earning for hotel stays. Points will be earned for eligible stays – Points and Cash stays are not included in this promotion.

You can earn bonus points as follows:

• Stay 2 nights and receive 15,000 bonus points
• Stay 3 nights and receive 30,000 bonus points

I find Club Carlson points to be extremely valuable especially when combined with the Club Carlson Visa Card (this is a link to the card website – I receive no compensation for this card)  which gives you two for one award nights. My entire six night stay in Ireland was solely at Radisson Blu properties located in Galway, Sligo, and Dublin. For every stay, I redeemed points for one night and received the second night as a bonus.

Club Carlson properties include Radisson, Radisson Blu, Park Inn, Country Inn and Suites, and Park Plaza. It is possible to find rooms at Country Inn and Suites for as low as $60 per night which makes this promotion mattress run worthy if you don’t have any planned stays coming up. Luckily for me, there is one of these properties in my small town!

Stays or nights paid for by redeeming Gold Points or by using Points + Cash are not eligible for this Promotion. Members only need to register once, but registration must be received before checkout of the first Eligible Stay to qualify.
