I really like WestJet and they never cease to amaze me with the surprises that they arrange for their passengers. Most recently it was a flight from Toronto to Las Vegas. I really wish they flew to South Carolina!
Passengers were met on board by the American stand-up comedian CarrotTop who gave them a choice – follow him on a flashing starlit blue carpet to places unknown… or choose to follow the red carpet to baggage claim. Those who chose the red carpet – well, they went to baggage claim as promised. No surprises. Just the endless round and round of the baggage carousel.
However, the passengers who chose to follow him on the blue carpet were whisked away in a private coach where they were treated to a sampling of all that Las Vegas has to offer. A performance by Cirque de Soleil, Las Vegas showgirls, and Terry Fator. The passengers also received vouchers for discounts on Las Vegas restaurants, hotels and attractions.
