From the time I began traveling, I have jotted in journals and kept photo logs of my travel adventures. I have wanted to share my travels and the deals that I find which make all of it possible for a long time.<\/span><\/p>\n

My first attempt at writing for a blog was a guest post for TheMrPickles<\/a> which actually turned into a seven part mini-series!\u00a0 Last June, I joined up with Carol at Southern Travel Girl and began writing on a more full time basis.\u00a0 With the encouragement of the folks at First2Board<\/strong><\/em> and TheMrPickles<\/strong><\/em>, I have now set up my own site \u2013 Carolina Travel Girl \u2013 focusing a little more on my South Carolina heritage as well as renewing my commitment to the First2Board Community.<\/p>\n

Yes, when First2Board<\/a> first began, there was the hope that we could have the site and its associated blogs be able to function without the customary credit card sign ups. But we soon learned that in order to pay the hosting fees, that revenue was very important. I will be quite honest and tell you that yes, I do receive a commisision from credit card sign ups and affiliate links and appreciate your support in that way.<\/p>\n

As we head into Spring and another year of travel, I hope that you will join me as I explore the world and discover new tips to help me accomplish my own travel dreams. \u00a0I also hope that you will find something along the way that inspires you to visit new places yourself. \u00a0And if you are only joining from the comfort of your home, I hope that you will enjoy seeing the world through my eyes.<\/p>\n
