My sister showed me this app called Viggle that lets you earn points while watching television shows, commercials and trailers, answering trivia questions, taking quizzes and making predictions for award shows and sports. While the TV is on she taps on her iPhone and earns points. You also earn points with reminders set to watch television shows. The points earned may be redeemed for gift cards, charitable donations and merchandise like the Kindle Fire. The rewards seems to change frequently, but old rewards do reappear. Some of the gift cards that have been offered are Amazon, Target, Best Buy, Fandango, Starbucks and iTunes.
Many TV shows pay bonus points, in addition to the regular points for checking in. My sister especially likes these regularly offered bonus opportunities, because she quickly earns many more points. Viggle is available for iPhone, iPad and iTouch. The Viggle app is purple with a white V. An android app is expected to be released, but I was unable to find any information about when that may happen.
This seems like a great app to earn points while sitting in an airport near a TV or in your hotel room, but it is not available for android users like me.
Have you tried Viggle? Is Viggle an app you enjoy? What rewards have you earned from Viggle?

Never heard of it but will try it out! Sounds interesting for someone like me who piddles around the house with the TV in the background.
After you try it let me know your impressions. Android beta version is coming soon.
So far not good results. They give you an initial 1,500 points for joining, but the checkins to various shows only give a few points here and there, and the ‘bonus points’ shows are hit and miss with awarding the bonuses. Reviews on the App Store for Apple are not great. Apparently this used to be a great program and was easy to get thousands of points, but not so much anymore
Sorry to hear about your results with Viggle. My sister has not had any trouble with her bonus points posting and she gets many bonus point opportunities daily. Since I am an android user, I have no personal experience with this app. Thanks for sharing!
