Today I checked my husband’s Delta account and Delta gave him 2,500 miles. I am assuming that this is compensation for our canceled flight last week.
The notation in his account is: Customer Relations Bonus 2500

When I rescheduled our flights for Maine, I got a great agent. She was knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. So we got better flight times, a longer stay in Maine and an extra 2,500 miles.

We used my husband’s Delta American Express to pay the $20 in taxes and fees for our award tickets. This AMEX card came with a $50 statement credit after any Delta purchase within first the three months of card membership. So we earned $30 for our flights and 2,500 miles. Most importantly we had a great time in Maine! My plan is to post more about our trip to Maine including shopping in Freeport.
