Currently only terminal C at IAH has TSA Precheck and services United and Alaska airlines passengers. Well while waiting in the line at terminal A (which services American Airlines), I noticed a TSA Precheck line but was closed off. Naturally I asked the TSA agent when they would be getting this and he stated within a couple of weeks. The website currently doesn’t state anything about when we can use this service at this terminal but it would be nice to finally get it here. The lines aren’t terribly long, but we wouldn’t have to go through the hassle of taking off our shoes and pull out our laptop and liquids.
Time for me to stop being lazy and sign up for this service!
If you’re getting the Plat, do Global Entry interview first and get the $100 credit back, then use the GE number to populate your airline profiles to get TSA precheck free. Otherwise it costs money correct? Not sure if there’s another free way of getting it.
Yea that’s what I read to do to. I like when life gets a lil bit easier…or at least travel haha
Thats good..last week I was about to miss my US airways flight from terminal A as I opted to go to Terminal C to get thru via Pre-Check…
This will definitely take the hassle out of that! Hope they move on this asap. Will give out an update when it happens
