Sign Up Now for Discover Card 5% Cash Back at Home Improvement Stores Starting April 1

If you have a Discover card, then you can sign up now for next quarter’s bonus which is 5% cash back on home improvement stores, furniture stores and Bed Bath and Beyond. The quarter starts April 1 and goes to June 30, 2014 and is up to $1,500 in purchases. This equates to $75 cash back.

The best way to take advantage of this promotion if you aren’t planning on doing any home improvement purchases is to buy gift cards for restaurants, gas cards, Southwest, and even Amex and Visa GC. Gift cards have been available at Lowe’s but they are now introduced to Home Depot which is where I found the Amex and Visa GC. So you can use to purchase cards for everyday spend or churn gift cards to maximize your $75 cash back.
