Get into the Museum of Flight for Free on First Thursdays

The Museum of Flight is located in Seattle not too far from the airport. I had a chance to check it out during the Freddie Awards and thought it was great!

Starting June 5, 2014, every first Thursday of the month, you can get into the museum for free from 5pm-9pm. Tickets are usually $19 for adults and $11 for children so this is big savings for those going with families.

The Airpark will also be open during these times and you will be able to peek inside some aircrafts. A Boeing 727 will be open for viewing in June, the Lockheed Super Constellation will be open in July, and a Boeing 747 will be open during August.

Also for those who are actively serving in the Military, starting May 17-Sept 1, 2014, you and 5 immediate family members will be able to go into the museum for free as part of the Blue Star Museum Program.

So if ya’ll are in the area, drop by the museum for free 1st Thursday evenings to see some really neat aircrafts and exhibits.
