I had previously written about the Rocketmiles offer that prompted my first booking with them. I stayed at the Clarion hotel in Seattle on Aug 2 and today I received an email stating that my United miles are on their way.
I expected the posting to my account to take a couple of days but I looked at my United profile and they were already posted!
I am very happy about the whole process and how quickly my miles were posted. They usually run promotions often for first time customers. They are currently running a promotion for first time customer where you can get 3k bonus United miles on top of your regular miles earned for hotel bookings by Aug 31, 2014 and stays by Dec 31, 2014.
How was your experience with your Rocketmiles booking?
Did you get stay credit with the hotel program?
I don’t collect choice hotel points so I didn’t bother to ask. It depends on the loyalty program if they allow you to earn credit.
That’s the one thing I’ve read that it’s hit or miss. You could get credit or not, so it’s important to keep in mind if stay credit is important but most people would go for the 6k for sure! I will be using RM at some point too!
I assume those are bonus miles, not qualifying miles?

You used to with the United Presidential Plus credit card but its no longer available..so to answer your question..no..just flying.
