Getting Discounted Tickets, Rooms, Meals in Vegas with FB Game

I’m going to Vegas soon to do another timeshare presentation with Holiday Inn Club Vacations. The first one I did was with Hilton Grand Vacations Club which you can read about here. The Holiday Inn didn’t offer any show tickets so I wanted to find the cheapest way to purchase a Cirque du Soleil show.

I had been playing the MyVegas Facebook slot machine game for a while whenever I had down time but I hadn’t redeemed any of my points yet. I checked the MyVegas Rewards and saw that they have options to redeem for tickets, restaurants, rooms, clubs and lounges, attractions and freeplay in Vegas. When choosing the shows, I saw many redemptions to various Cirque du Solei shows. You could redeem your points for a buy one get one free or there were even options to redeem for tickets out right. For 4,000 points I redeemed for a standard companion ticket to Zumanity which is the buy one get one free option. They emailed me a redemption code and I had to call to redeem it. When I called, I gave them the code and my Mlife #. If you don’t have one, then you have to sign up with Mlife first.  I also told them the date I wanted to see the show. As a word of warning, these tickets have blackout dates and you must be 21 to redeem. I had to purchase them over the phone so I had to verify some information and gave them my cc #. I asked how much they were charging me and it was only $55 for both tickets. I felt pretty good about the purchase since these tickets are going online for $80+ per ticket online. Have you redeemed for any MyVegas rewards?
