This past weekend was the second of the First2Board sessions which were held in Seattle. The first was held in Charleston and you can read more about my experience here.

The event was hosted at the Sheraton at Bellevue. We had some great speakers at the Saturday & Sunday sessions.
Angelina who writes Just Another Points Traveler talked about last minute travel vs. planned travel and when it makes sense to do either.
Bonnie who writes Frugal Travel Lawyer talked about her love affair with 7 hotel loyalty programs which included IHG, Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, Club Carlson, Starwood, and Kimpton. She also shared how you can get a Southwest Companion Pass via Marriott Vacation Packages.
Dia who writes The Deal Mommy talked about Hyatt & Mlife reciprocal benefits and how she gets week vacation packages inexpensively throughout the world and how we could go about doing it ourselves. Here are some deals that she has shared in the past.
Jamison who writes Point Summary talked about travel tips when going to other countries. He has a lot of knowledge since he travels frequently, especially to South America. You can read his trip reports on this blog.
Caroline who writes the Point Princess talked about her bike ride across America for 4kforCancer which benefits the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults. You can read about her journey here.
Ari who does award bookings with Award Magic and one of our partners talked about award booking tips.
After the sessions, they announced that the next location will be in Phoenix at the Phoenician! Registration not yet open but will be announced soon.
Boeing Production Facility Tour and Dinner
We had the opportunity to tour the Boeing production facility in Seattle at the Future of Flight. You too can take the tour. We weren’t allowed to take pics inside the production floor due to proprietary information, but we did take some random selfies!

We also had the opportunity for a dinner at the production facility where our view were of the new planes ready for their new homes. The food was also delicious!

The sessions were a great success and can’t wait for the next one! Seattle is also a beautiful city. We had a chance to do some exploring but my favorite part was the beautiful sunset.
