For several years now, American Express has run a promotion the Saturday after Thanksgiving where you could earn statement credit after you spend a certain amount at select small businesses.
When if first began, you could spend $25 and get a $25 credit for each Amex card, including authorized users. Last year is was a little disappointing because you were only able to get $10 statement credit per card. Well thanks for the Frequent Miler letting us know that this year you can get (3) $10 statement credits per card which totals $30 per card. This can be done for authorized users, Serve cards, and for the first time BlueBird Cards. Here are the T&Cs.
So if you haven’t already done so, start adding authorized users to your account (if they permit you) to make the most of Small Business Saturday.
So two dates to remember:
November 16, 2014 – When registration begins, go to this websites to register all your cards. There is limited registration so the closer to this date the better. The T&Cs also show you other ways to register your cards.
November 29, 2014 – Shop at select small businesses to earn statement credit. This list of participating businesses will be on the website where you register your cards.
So mark you calendars and get ready for some shopping!
