I stumbled upon this promotion while booking a Club Carlson award redemption. When booking an award, I usually see standard award and premium award, but I noticed something new…Power Points award.
I found the promotion link and it is available at select properties in the US, Canada, Guatemala, Mexico, Trinidad & Tobago. The promotion started Sept 1, 2014 and ends Nov 30, 2014 and you can book a stay for 25% less points.
But there is a catch… if you have the Club Carlson Visa, it doesn’t work with the 2 for 1 award redemption. So this promotion would only be good if you wanted to book one night at these select Club Carlson properties or if you don’t have the hotel co-branded credit card.
I almost got super giddy about this because it would be a steal if you could combine with the 2 for 1 award nights but it isn’t so.
