I saw this great deal on Points Summary from American Express (NOW ENDED) and had to take advantage of it. I synced my Amex Hilton card and received an email stating that I was enrolled in the deal of getting a $50 credit for spending $100. Luckily there is a Fleming’s in Austin, TX so I went to try it out because of the great things I have heard about it. The restaurant is near 2nd street downtown but unfortunately they are currently doing construction on the street.
When we went inside we noticed the ambiance was a romantic setting and dark. Before I sat down, I bought a $100 gift card and got a $20 from the promotion they are currently having. On the website I noticed that from 5-7 they have select appetizers and drinks at the bar for $6. I decided to try the peach sparkler and sweet chili calamari. The drink was delicious and the calamari was tangy with banana peppers and bell peppers. I highly recommend it if you like seafood.

And who can forget desert! We were told during our dinner that the Chocolate Lava Cake that we wanted would take about 20 min to make so if you want this desert then order it at the beginning. It has molten chocolate in the middle, ice cream and fresh whip cream. Very delicious!

Of course I paid with the gift card I just received. When I got the receipt, I noticed that if I shared my experience on their website then I would get a $25 credit on my next visit. SO in total after the amex credit, I will have only spent $50 for $100+$20+$25=$145 worth of food!
I definitely recommend this place for a special occasion or a romantic date. If you still want to take advantage of the gift card deal but not interest in Fleming’s, you can use these gift cards at any Bloomin’ Brands locations which includes Outback, Bonefish Grill, Carrabas and Roy’s.
