I’m pretty much giddy for all kinds of points, not just for hotel and airlines, so when I got an email saying that Kohl’s came out with a reward program I was excited!
If you follow the Frequent Miler, you know that you can potentially get 20 points/$ by double dipping on the Ultimate Rewards shopping portal by first buying physical gift cards, then buying the merchandise with the gift cards you received. Kohl’s also offers great discounts up to 30% off and gives you Koh’ls cash for spending a certain amount.
Well now you can register for their new rewards program which will let you earn 1 points/$ no mater how you pay. So I’m pretty sure that you will get points for paying with giftcards. Every 100 points will get you a $5 reward and you will also get a special birthday offer which I’m assuming would be Kohl’s cash/certificate.
NOTE: The program is not yet available nationwide but you can check to see if it is in your area by entering your zip code here. I know that central Texas has availability!
Kohls just keeps on getting better and better! My favorite sales time to go is Black Friday for Christmas shopping. I got lots of free items after rebate, I got a 5 piece luggage set for $30, and lots of discounts on jewelry. So don’t forget to sign up before you shop!
Won’t let me register as it is not in my area yet. Bummer.
Not on the California Central Coast here, either, though we do have a brick & mortar Kohl’s in town.
