This place is definitely on my bucket list.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">On the\u00a0 east side of Australia is Queensland, known as the Gold Coast. From underwater to up in the air, there is never a shortage of excursion to do. Here are some adventures I would love to do in Queensland in five days.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.koala.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">Visit Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane<\/a><\/strong>&#8211; I love animals and this place is the world&#8217;s first and largest koala sanctuary. The best part about this place is that you get to cuddle with a koala! They are so very cute, how can you not want to hold them! You also get a chance to feed the kangaroos, hold a python, and see other Aussie wildlife such as a platypus, the Tasmanian devil, and a variety of birds of prey.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/files\/2013\/06\/koala.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1145 aligncenter\" alt=\"koala\" src=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/files\/2013\/06\/koala-300x291.png\" width=\"253\" height=\"248\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Hot Air Ballo<\/strong><strong>oning <\/strong>&#8211; What better way to take in the scenery than a serene balloon ride over the coast or over Cairns or Brisbane. I&#8217;ve never been on one but I&#8217;ve always wanted to and the views here would be fantastic! Many rides also include breakfast at a vineyard at the end of the ride which would be a perfect way to complete the experience.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><a href=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/files\/2013\/06\/hot_air_balloon.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1148 aligncenter\" alt=\"hot_air_balloon\" src=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/files\/2013\/06\/hot_air_balloon-300x232.png\" width=\"300\" height=\"232\" srcset=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/13\/files\/sites\/13\/2013\/06\/hot_air_balloon-300x232.png 300w, http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/13\/files\/sites\/13\/2013\/06\/hot_air_balloon.png 455w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Great_Barrier_Reef\" target=\"_blank\">Snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef<\/a>&#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Being the largest reef in the world and home to an abundance of marine life, this is a must see when coming to Australia.\u00a0 Some interesting facts about the reefs are that they are home to over 1,500 species of fish, 134 sharks and rays, and more that 30 species of marine mammals. I can&#8217;t wait to take my underwater camera to capture the beauty that this reef has to offer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/files\/2013\/06\/turtle.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1155 aligncenter\" alt=\"turtle\" src=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/files\/2013\/06\/turtle-300x208.png\" width=\"300\" height=\"208\" srcset=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/13\/files\/sites\/13\/2013\/06\/turtle-300x208.png 300w, http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/13\/files\/sites\/13\/2013\/06\/turtle.png 483w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Taking a Seaplane to the Reefs<\/strong>&#8211; Viewing the reefs from up in the air will compliment the views from below the surface. The seaplane will take you on a 30 min ride to view the breath taking scenery that is offered from the tropical\u00a0 islands and the coral below. An interesting fact is that these reefs can be visible from space, pretty impressive!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/files\/2013\/06\/sea_plane.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1167 aligncenter\" alt=\"sea_plane\" src=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/files\/2013\/06\/sea_plane-300x169.png\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/13\/files\/sites\/13\/2013\/06\/sea_plane-300x169.png 300w, http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/13\/files\/sites\/13\/2013\/06\/sea_plane.png 303w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><a href=\"http:\/\/rainforest-australia.com\/Millaa_Millaa_Waterfall_Circuit.htm\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Tour the Waterfalls Circuit<\/strong><\/a>&#8211; Queensland is home to many waterfalls. The waterfall circuit includes three that are in close proximity to each other.\u00a0 The Millaa Millaa falls is the most photographed falls in Australia and is also a popular swimming spot. Taking a dip in the falls sounds like a fun adventure to me! Another falls is the Zillie falls where you can view the cascading water from a platform at the base. The last is Ellinjaa Falls which is very picturesque and you can walk up to the base to take it all in. The guides must have skills to navigate around the river boulders and lead the group to safety and the group has to work as a team to paddle together to go the right direction.
