Earlier in the year I had posted about how miles and points are getting me to Italy<\/a>. \u00a0After the post I had gotten feedback about the Raddison Blu in Rome <\/a>and how many did not like their stay there.<\/p>\n

Well I can say that I’m glad I had a chance to experience the hotel first hand and that I enjoyed my stay because of the location to the metro, the awesome rooftop pool, and the great breakfast.<\/p>\n

Getting to the Hotel from the Airport<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since the hotel is about a 15 minute walk from Termini Station, you can take the train in from the Fiumicino\u00a0airport to here and will cost about 11 Euro per person. The area is not the greatest in Rome but I never felt unsafe. The great part about being near the metro is that you can access most of the city quickly and it is easy to use because they only have 2 lines, A & B. When you get to the hotel in the evening, the front desk will be lit up in the distinguishing blue.<\/p>\n

\"Raddison<\/a><\/p>\n

The Room<\/strong><\/p>\n

With my points I got the Business room which is located on the 6th floor and overlooks the center terrace. The room is a decent size for a European room and the\u00a0bathrooms had frosted glass so there was privacy. This room is good for couples or close friends in my opinion.<\/p>\n

Amenities<\/strong><\/p>\n

My favorite part of the hotel is the rooftop pool. They are open after breakfast at 9:30 am and close by 7:30 pm and it is refreshing to take a dip before your day to wake you up or after your long day of walking around the city to relax you.<\/p>\n

They also have a rooftop bar\/restaurant where you can have a romantic dinner pool side.<\/p>\n

They also have a small gym and hot tub in the same area to work out and relax.<\/p>\n

Another favorite part of the hotel was the breakfast which came with the Business Room on points. There were many options from fruit and pastries to meats & cheeses and hot foods like eggs and bacon.<\/p>\n

I also have to commend the @RaddisonBluRoma<\/a> on twitter for being awesome and responsive. I had asked them for restaurant suggestions and they DMed me some of their favorites in the area and near the Colosseum which were great.<\/p>\n

I would definitely stay here again whenever I get the chance to come back.<\/p>\n
