Just ignore them and keep on walking and keep your personal items close to you.<\/li>\n<li>For ladies, to go into the Vatican Museum or St. Peters Basilica, wear shorts, skirts, or dresses to your knees or longer, and where shirts that cover your shoulders or bring a sweater to cover up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Rome Tips<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cafes have 2 prices that they charge for food, the sit down price and the to go price. That is why you see Italians stand at the cafe to drink their cappuccino. You can drink out of these fountains and the water is\u00a0cool and pretty refreshing. I was skeptical at first but don&#8217;t worry, its safe.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"attachment_3265\" style=\"width: 272px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/files\/2014\/09\/Water-Fountain.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3265\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-3265 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/files\/2014\/09\/Water-Fountain-262x300.jpg\" alt=\"Water Fountain\" width=\"262\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/13\/files\/sites\/13\/2014\/09\/Water-Fountain-262x300.jpg 262w, http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/13\/files\/sites\/13\/2014\/09\/Water-Fountain-400x456.jpg 400w, http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/13\/files\/sites\/13\/2014\/09\/Water-Fountain-200x228.jpg 200w, http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/13\/files\/sites\/13\/2014\/09\/Water-Fountain-150x171.jpg 150w, http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/13\/files\/sites\/13\/2014\/09\/Water-Fountain.jpg 897w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 262px) 100vw, 262px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-3265\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Safe and refreshing drinking water<\/p><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.05em\">Drivers in Rome seem to take traffic stops as a suggestion so when you are walking around, which you will be doing a lot of, just be careful of\u00a0<\/span>motorists<span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.05em\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>If you are at the metro or train station and someone asks to see your ticket, don&#8217;t show or give it to them, it is a scam.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.romefreewalkingtour.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Rome offers free walking tours<\/a> in\u00a0English, Spanish and one day in French.
