If all goes well, you will see a screen saying that your accounts have been successfully linked.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/files\/2015\/01\/matched-accounts.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-3727\" src=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/files\/2015\/01\/matched-accounts.png\" alt=\"matched accounts\" width=\"495\" height=\"266\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If all doesn&#8217;t go well, you will get this screen:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/files\/2015\/01\/not-matched.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-3728\" src=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/giddyforpoints\/files\/2015\/01\/not-matched.png\" alt=\"not matched\" width=\"660\" height=\"135\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Basically, everything from your name to your email address to your address has to match from each account. For me, one account had my full middle name while the other just had my middle initial and thus I was not able to connect accounts.<\/p>\n<p>In order to get your information to match, you have to call either American Airlines at <strong>1-800-882-8880<\/strong>\u00a0or US Airways\u00a0at <strong>1-800-428-4322<\/strong> and have them update your information.
