It seems that various hotel programs are coming out with a new brand to try to appeal to a niche market. Currently\u00a02 hotel programs are offering some bonus points for staying at their new brand.<\/p>\n

Starwood
\n\"Trubute<\/a><\/strong>Their new and 10th brand is called Tribute Portfolio and it seems they are going for the boutique hotel\/resort experience. Their first property is\u00a0Royal Palm South Beach Miami <\/a>and they are planning to add the brand hotel in\u00a0Asheville, NC; Nashville, TN; Charleston, and SC; Savannah, GA to start.<\/p>\n

They are currently offering bonus points if you stay at their newest brand. You must first register here <\/a>in order to receive 2,000 points per stay up to 10k points for stays until July 15, 2015.<\/p>\n

Looking at the hotel prices, it is a pretty expensive place to stay and as a category 6 hotel, you will have to shell out 20k points per night. Also the resort charges a $30 per day resort fee which will include drink vouchers, bottled water and fruit, and 2 beach chairs and towel service for the beach.<\/p>\n

There are other more reasonable places to stay in South Beach.<\/p>\n

Hilton
\n\"Curio<\/a><\/strong>Their new and one of 13 brands called Curio is also a boutique hotel collection and they currently have locations in 11 places. They are currently offering 1,500 bonus points per night up to four nights when you register<\/a>\u00a0and stay at a Curio hotel by July 31, 2015. The max bonus points is 6,000 points. Any one that knows about the Hilton rewards program knows that this amount of points is nothing compared to the redemption amount so there is no need to go out of your way to stay at these properties for the bonus points.<\/p>\n

The properties for this brand are:<\/p>\n

Boulders Resort & Spa in Carefree, AZ<\/a>\u00a0Category 9 which ranges from 50k to 80k points\/night
\nDiplomat Resort & Spa Hollywood, FL<\/a> Category 8 which ranges from 40k to 70k points\/night
\nHotel Alex Jackson Rapid City, SD<\/a>\u00a0Category 6 hotel scheduled to open Sept 2015. Rooms will cost 30k to 50k points\/night.
\nJewel Dunn\u2019s River Resort & Spa Ocho Rios, Jamaica<\/a>\u00a0scheduled to open Sept 2015.
\nJewel Paradise Cove Resort & Spa Runaway Bay, Jamaica<\/a>\u00a0scheduled to open June\u00a02015.
\nProvidence Biltmore Providence, RI<\/a>\u00a0Category 6 hotel which ranges from\u00a0from 30k to 50k points\/night
\nReichshof Hamburg, Germany<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Category 5 hotel which ranges from\u00a0from 30k to 40k points\/night
\nSLS Las Vegas, NV\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0Category 7 hotel which ranges from\u00a030k to 60k points\/night. You can find rooms for $65\/night during the week and there is a resort fee charge of $25\/day.
\nThe Franklin Hotel Chapel Hill, NC<\/a>\u00a0Category 7 hotel which ranges from\u00a030k to 60k points\/night.
\nThe Highland Dallas, TX\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0Category 8 which ranges from 40k to 70k points\/night
\nThe Sam Houston Houston, TX<\/a>\u00a0Category 6 hotel accepting reservation starting July 1. Rooms will cost 30k to 50k points\/night.<\/p>\n

Hilton also started a new brand called Canopy <\/a>where their approach is more about being local with\u00a0each hotel being completely unique.\"Canopy<\/a>Their first location will be in Bethesda, MD and\u00a0is set to open sometime in 2016.<\/p>\n
