Award Flight Booking

So you’ve managed to accumulate some miles and points in one or more loyalty programs, but you’re not sure of the best way to use them. Maybe you have tried to redeem for a flight only to find that there is no space available. Maybe you have Ultimate Rewards or Membership Rewards points and you don’t even know where you should transfer them to. Would it just be easier to pay for the flight? It sometimes seems like a person would need a specialized degree to decode all of the rules and restrictions that are placed on redeeming for award travel.

Instead of leaving those valuable miles and points sitting in an account waiting to expire, let Wander the World help you out. We’ve studied the rules and learned the restrictions so that you don’t have to. We know the right places to look and when to find the available awards. Sometimes, we can even suggest a way for you to travel for fewer miles. If at all possible, we will find you the awards you want and make your trip a reality.

For our Award Flight Booking Service, we use the following pricing.

$100 for up to 2 people traveling together on a single itinerary with up to 4 flights.

$50 for each additional person traveling on the same itinerary.

$25 for each additional flight.

For these purposes, we will consider a flight to be your travel between two places where you are planning to stay for more than just a layover. For example, if you want to travel from LAX (Los Angeles) to CDG (Paris) and the routing takes you from LAX-ORD-JFK-CDG, that will only count as a single flight. However, if you plan to stay for 3 nights in New York before continuing on your way, this would be 2 flights, one LAX-ORD-JFK and one JFK-CDG.

In addition, two people will be considered to be flying on the same itinerary as long as the major components of the trip will be flown together. If either person needs a positioning flight to get to or from the city where the main trip will start, they will still be considered to be traveling on a single itinerary.

We will do everything possible to find you the award space that you are looking for. Please remember that this will often take us more than a single search and it may take some time for us to complete your request. The farther out from your planned departure and the more flexibility you have, the better chance that we will be able to successfully find your needed award space. Of course, if for some reason we are unable to find award space for you, you will not be expected to compensate us in any way.

Once we have found the seats, as long as the airline will allow it, we will be happy to book your awards for you. Save yourself the time and trouble and let Wander the World do the hard work for you. Redeeming your miles and points should be rewarding, not give you a headache. We take the stress of planning out of your hands and let you enjoy your trip.

If you are interested in having us book your award flights, please send us an email at awardbooking@indulgethewanderlust.com including as much of the following information as possible.

  • What is your destination?
  • When would you like to go? (be as flexible as possible)

  • Where will you be leaving from?
  • How many miles and points do you have to use and in what programs?
  • Would you like to fly Economy, Business, or First Class?
  • Is there anything else I should know about your trip?

We look forward to working with you on your travel plans and will start on your search as soon as possible. If you need additional assistance planning the rest of your trip, please take a look at our Vacation Planning Service as well.

  1. We want to thank you for the fantastic service you provided us on our recent trip to South America. On short notice, you were able to book first class seats for far fewer points than I thought was possible. It was very kind of you to send us a note a couple of days prior to departure wishing us a good trip. The schedules were perfect and all connections were easily made. Thanks again for the help and look forward to utilizing your service again.
    Best wishes
