There are many different aspects involved in planning a vacation. We have made an attempt to structure our services so that we can provide as little or as much assistance as you need. We start each of our client relationships with some simple questions that are designed to help us understand your travel preferences and goals. From there, we use our knowledge and research expertise to design an experience just for you.
The following is a basic list of the vacation planning tasks we can easily do for you, but by no means is it a limit of our abilities. If you need additional assistance, please let us know and we will be happy to provide you with a pricing estimate. Destination / Basic Travel Itinerary Planning
Simply tell us when you want to travel and what your preferred vacation type is and we will provide you with a list of recommended destinations. Once you choose, we will give you the best options of how to get there and where to stay. If you want, will we can even make all of the decisions for you and provide you with a ready-to-book basic travel itinerary. Services start at just $50 for a simple single destination itinerary. Activity Planning
Once you reach your destination, you may want to do more than just lay on the beach or sit in your hotel room. Wander the World will be glad to plan activities, adventures, and dining for your time away from home. Whether you want to choose from a list or you want us to pick for you, we will help you to experience the best of wherever you travel. In combination with our other services, we can make sure that you have a fantastic trip from beginning to end. Our Activity Planning Service starts at just $125 for a three day trip and is only $25 for each additional day. We can plan as many or as few of your vacation days as you would like. Please note that this service is location dependent so it may not be available for your vacation. For some destinations, we do not have the ability to plan or book activities, adventures, or dining prior to the trip.
Air / Transportation Booking
Once you have your itinerary and know how you are getting there, we can take care of the actual booking process for you. Anything from airline or train tickets to a Jeep-Boat-Jeep ride in Costa Rica, we can make sure you have a seat reserved before you leave home. This booking service will cost $25 for the first two people and $10 for each additional person traveling on the same itinerary and will include all legs of transportation for you trip. Please note that with this service, we will not be responsible for finding the proper transportation options. We will only take care of the booking for what you provide us with. Hotel / Lodging Booking
Our Hotel and Lodging booking service will take care of making any lodging reservations that you need for your trip. Whether you want 5-star hotels and resorts or hostels and B+B’s, we will insure that you have a place to stay. For booking, we charge $25 to reserve a single room for each leg of your trip and $10 for each additional room that you need. Similar to our Transportation Booking, this service will provide the actual reservations for any lodging that you provide us with. Activity Booking
Finding places to go, things to do, and places to eat can range from simple to quite complex. Once you have found them, reserving or booking can be even more of a challenge. Whether you did the planning yourself, or took advantage of our Activity Planning Service, we can make sure that you have a seat in the helicopter, a place in the tour, or a table at the restaurant. Whenever possible, we will have your activities reserved and confirmed before you leave for your trip. Activity Booking Services are priced at $75 for a 3-day trip and $25 for each additional day. Please note that this service is location dependent so it may not be available for your vacation. For some destinations, we do not have the ability to plan or book activities, adventures, or dining prior to the trip.
Trip Itinerary, Planning, and Booking Package
For the traveler who wants it all, this package includes each of the items listed above. We will plan where you will go, how you will get there, and what you will do during your vacation. In addition, we will take care of booking your travel, lodging, activities, and dining. This package starts at just $275 for a 3-day trip for two people and is only $500 for a 7-day trip with a family of four. For additional travelers or trip lengths, we will be happy to provide you with a quote upon request.
