Delta Skyclub Chicago O’Hare Airport
This post is a review of the Delta Skyclub Chicago O’Hare Airport.
I accessed the Delta Sky Club Chicago O’Hare Airport thanks to my American Express Platinum card which offers lounge access to Delta Sky Clubs when you are traveling on Delta.
The lounge access is in addition to the Centurion Lounge and Priority Pass lounge access that the card offers.
I approached the reception desk and was greeted promptly by the agent who asked for my membership card and boarding pass. I provided my American Express Platinum card and boarding pass. The agent processed the registration and she invited me into the lounge.
The agent explained that it was a self-service lounge and that I could find the restrooms near the coffee station at the center of the lounge. The agent thanked me and wished me a good day.
The lounge is a long hallway with several different seating areas. At the front there were a group of mini chairs and choices as well as tables.
In the middle of the lounge near the coffee station, you found some tables and chairs as well as some of the mini couch chairs as well.
At the back of the lounge was the bar area which featured regular chairs as well as televisions.
The lounge featured plenty of chairs at the time of my visit and I took a seat and relaxed prior to my flight.
The lounge offers several food stations which were all self service.
At the middle of the club there was a coffee station with a Starbucks Machine featuring a variety of beverages. In addition, cereal, granola bars and fresh fruit was available at the station along with oatmeal and grits.
At the back of the lounge there was the bar area. The bar area featured two snack stations. One of the stations featured yogurt and fresh fruit bar with a variety of healthy toppings.
The other bar had bagels, toast, pastries and other items.
A full bar setup was available along the other wall in the area. Wine, beer, and a variety of alcohol bottles were available.
In addition, juice, fruit infused water and soda was available.
The stations were setup neatly and signs were present listing each item.
I selected a bagel with fresh cream cheese and made yogurt with various seeds and dried fruit.
The bagel was fresh and I toasted it. The bagel was cinnamon raisin flavor and it had a good taste. The cream cheese was fresh.
The yogurt was creamy and it had a good taste mixed with the healthy toppings.
I relaxed for a few minutes before my flight.
I did not interact with any of the other team members during the visit.
When I was ready to depart, the agent at the reception desk thanked me sincerely and she wished me a good flight.
The Sky Club at Chicago was a great place to relax before the flight. I enjoyed the top your own yogurt bar with all the healthy options as well as the bagel. The agent at the reception desk was polite and she warmly welcomed me to the lounge.
