What, if anything, do hotels owe you when “fake” fire alarms go off? What about points vs. cash stays? – I had a stay where the fire alarm went off about 2 AM. Everyone had to go outside for about 30 minutes. It is better to be safe on these things but since it was a false alarm it was annoying. There was no acknowledgement at check out in my case.
