Target is currently running a promo for $100 off 16 GB iPad Air 2s and $75 off 64 GB iPad Air 2s.  This is a great reselling opportunity especially when you combine the sales price with the Target RedCard discount (5%) and any coupons you may have sitting around, such as a coupon for creating a registry (15%) – wink, wink, nod, nod.

I took advantage of this deal this morning and saved additional 19% off the sales price. I was able to do so by stacking the discounts mentioned above.  Here is the deal breakdown:

• iPad Air 2 64 GB Space Grey
• MSRP = $599
• Amazon Price = $529 (usually sells for $540-$545)
• Purchase Price = $423.13 (30% discount off MSRP)
• Expected Profit = $74-$88 depending on final sales price

Not bad, the one downside is that I am currently trying to meet a minimum spend on an Amex Business Gold card, $10k, in three months. Because I had to use RedCard for added discount I did not get to pad my MS on the Gold card.  Oh well, still a money maker.
