{"id":141,"date":"2015-12-04T13:56:34","date_gmt":"2015-12-04T21:56:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/milespointsreselling.com\/?p=141"},"modified":"2016-02-14T08:31:38","modified_gmt":"2016-02-14T16:31:38","slug":"fulfilled-by-amazon-trials-and-tribulations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/first2board.com\/milespointsreselling\/2015\/12\/04\/fulfilled-by-amazon-trials-and-tribulations\/","title":{"rendered":"Fulfilled by Amazon Trials and Tribulations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have been selling stuff on Amazon since August, and I suppose by stuff I really mean iPads. \u00a0Using FBA has been an interesting experience. \u00a0On one hand there are things that annoy the heck out of me. \u00a0On the other it is so fast and easy that I wouldn&#8217;t want to resell on any other marketplace. \u00a0That being said, I thought I would take a minute and\u00a0recap some of the annoyances.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The first is that twice this month Amazon has lost inventory. \u00a0The first was an iPad that I sent in and it was lost upon check in to the warehouse. \u00a0I contacted Amazon and they initiated reimbursement in the form of money or replacing the inventory. For me they replaced the inventory and the item quickly sold.<\/p>\n<p>The second time they lost an iPad was after two purchases and two cancelations. One person bought and canceled the item and then a second person bought and canceled the item. \u00a0After the second cancelation, somehow the iPad was lost in the warehouse. \u00a0I contacted Amazon and the response was to give them 30 days to find the item and if it cannot be found they would reimburse me. \u00a0Considering that I usually sell my iPad&#8217;s within a day of them listing I was not too happy with having to wait up to 30 days to cash out.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, Amazon found the item within 5 days and it went back into my inventory. \u00a0The iPad sold the same day it went back into my inventory. \u00a0(Have I mentioned before how much I love selling iPads?)<\/p>\n<p>I would not consider either one of these issues to be major. \u00a0Certainly, neither issue is going to keep me from using Amazon. \u00a0The customer service is top notch and the website is pretty easy to use. \u00a0It must be since I often feel like I have no idea what I am doing when entering product and things still seem to work (that is a post for a different day).<\/p>\n<p>My next step with Amazon is to diversify. \u00a0I got my feet wet with iPads but it is time to branch out.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have been selling stuff on Amazon since August, and I suppose by stuff I really mean iPads. \u00a0Using FBA has been an interesting experience&#8230;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":95,"featured_media":214,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_mi_skip_tracking":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[6,3],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.13 -
