Of course that is now more difficult thanks to the shutdowns. \u00a0Fortunately, I have a plan.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I am sure this will come as a big shocker that my plan involves reselling. \u00a0I have been telling myself for some time that I need to branch out on my resell opportunities. \u00a0When it comes to meeting minimum spends I am more concerned about breaking even than I am about my profits. \u00a0This has freed me up to branch out on what I am looking to sell. \u00a0So <a href=\"http:\/\/milespointsreselling.com\/2016\/01\/10\/meeting-minimum-spends-via-reselling\/\">I am heeding my own advice <\/a>and buying Apple Watches which\u00a0are on sale at Target.<\/p>\n<p>I bought 4 watches for $1196. \u00a0Depending on how many resellers take advantage of this deal I hope to make a $15-18 profit per watch. \u00a0I also bought the watches through the Amtrak shopping portal (it was offering a deal that works best for me at 3x). \u00a0If these sell well (which they should) I will look for opportunities to buy more. \u00a0I want to get an idea of what the turnaround is before I float more money.<\/p>\n<p>The other thing that I will be doing is testing my remaining Serve card. \u00a0My plan for now is to just load $500 per month. \u00a0It is a new card so I hope to be able to slip under the radar for a bit. \u00a0We&#8217;ll see.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, with the changing landscape it will take me longer to meet the minimum spend on the BA card. \u00a0The good news is that it gives me an excuse to branch and be creative about meeting minimum spending requirements.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In light of the Bluebird\/Serve shutdowns I am having to readjust how I plan to do things. \u00a0I am putting my wife&#8217;s churn on hold&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":95,"featured_media":193,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_mi_skip_tracking":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[2,6,3],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.13 -
