The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Hotel Review

After staying at the Palazzo Las Vegas hotel, I drove to the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas hotel. I booked the Cosmopolitan hotel using 8,800 American Airlines miles. The Marriott website was asking for $218, so I decided using miles was the best option. Recently, I Went From a Marriott General Member to a Platinum Elite in Less Than One Minute. I called the hotel to add my newly minted Platinum status to my reservation so I could receive elite benefits.

I checked into the hotel at the Platinum VIP Room which is exclusively for Marriott Platinum members. I was booked in the lowest category room, which is a standard room with no balcony. I used the $20 trick and was upgraded from the worst room to a 1 Bedroom Wraparound Terrace Suite in the East Tower which was three room categories higher! I chose the East Tower because I have been in a suite in the West Tower (facing the Bellagio fountains) and I wanted to try something different. The front desk agent presented me with the welcome letter that explains the Platinum benefits. I chose the two complimentary breakfast buffet option at Wicked Spoon as the Platinum gift. I asked her to waive the resort fee and she gladly complied. She was very nice and even provided a free WiFi code for me to use throughout my stay.

I made a video of my Wraparound Terrace Suite:

The living room was beautifully decorated and had a full kitchen with a breakfast bar. There was also plenty of seating in the L-shaped sofa and dining room table.

The bedroom was beautifully decorated as well and contained a king sized bed.

The bathroom was very spacious and contained a shower and bathtub.

The suite even has its own laundry washer and dryer with an ironing board.

The kitchen minibar fridge was fully stocked with all kinds of liquor and soft drinks.

The best part about the room was access to the outdoor terrace. You can access the terrace balcony from the living room and the bedroom.

The views were absolutely gorgeous as you can see McCarren Airport and see planes take off and land. The East Tower is definitely an #avgeek’s dream come true.

The terrace suite balcony “wrapped around” so I also had the view of beautiful CityCenter Las Vegas.

If you thought the view was great during the day, it looks 100 times better at night!

I had brunch at Wicked Spoon buffet the next morning and everything tasted delicious, especially the desserts.

I highly recommend visiting the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and scoring a Wraparound Terrace Suite if you can because I believe it’s one of the best rooms in Las Vegas. I have stayed at the Wynn and Encore Parlor/Salon Suites before and nothing rivals the newness of the Cosmopolitan and the views are unmatched.
