The SECRET LifeMiles Trick That No One Wants To Blog About

In the past year, there have been subtle hints dropped by bloggers about using less than a small undisclosed amount of Avianca LifeMiles to travel around the world in Business and First Class.

Mr Pickles dropped some hints about what he SAW.

A few unnamed bloggers have put password protected posts on their LifeMiles posts. One blogger even took down an entire post dedicated to this trick due to extensive backlash from the frequent flyer community.

Last week, a blogger sent out LifeMiles tricks in the form of an E-mail Newsletter.

There is even a FlyerTalk Forum and thread dedicated to tricking Lifemiles.

Today, Mommy Points blogged about her Ten of the Best Airline Mileage Redemption Sweet Spots and mentions the trick, although discretely. Here is an excerpt from Mommy Point’s post:

Many people are enjoying the 40,000 LifeMiles VISA, even though bloggers who don’t even receive a credit card referral incentive for it.

Jeff, Gary, and Lucky blogged today about how Avianca’s LifeMiles program has just announced that they’ll be offering a 100% bonus on transferred miles through March 17, 2014. It’s no coincidence that everyone love LifeMiles.

What you need to know: People are flying around the world in premium class products for a miniscule number of LifeMiles that will shock you if you ever found out. FYI: People are not using LifeMiles to fly to Central/South America which are Avianca’s primary hubs.

This harkens back to Is there a Secret Society for Sharing Deals?

  1. What good can come of this post, exactly? It will only lead to it getting shut down, if it exists, wouldn’t you say?

    • What good can come of it? I don’t know, sharing travel tips with frequent flyers. A google search of this shows multple blogs detailing what you need to do. I don’t understand why people want to keep everything a secret. Deals come, deals go. Its the circle of life.

  2. I think anyone who is around the community should know this by now. I can’t imagine it will be around much longer, but who knows.

I WAS going to blog about this in detail, until the 40,000 mile Visa offer came up, now my lips are zipped. There are many tricks to this program, some I just learned this week. They amaze even me.

  4. Aw, come on, do tell. Dangling carrots are not fair.

  5. Hint: A US territory in the Pacific that is not a state.

  6. What do chainsaw and gummy bear stand for? I can’t understand Flyertalk. Help a newbie!

  7. not sure if you meant me here, but I did pull down a post not because of any backlash, but because one guy approached me in a genuine manner and asked me nicely to do so. I enjoy confrontation and don’t back down from it 🙂

  8. Pointssummary, you’re a typical Chinese, say something, without disclosing how to achieve it. It’s similar to posting an ad for the great job, without posting how to apply! Useless Post, just waisted our time! Next time I see your name appear in Google Search – I’ll know that’s from the guy who just ‘brain-farts” !
