The Sights and Sounds of Narita in Japan

I had a six hour layover after landing in Tokyo’s Narita International Airport before departing for my flight to Los Angeles. A short layover at NRT isn’t enough to venture out into Tokyo city center because it’s an hour away without traffic. Thankfully, Narita town in Chiba is only a short 10 minute train ride from Narita airport. This would be my second time in Narita and I fully knew what to expect, but I hadn’t visited in three years.

The quickest and most efficient way to get to Narita town is by taking the Keisei Main Line to Keisei Narita station and it’s only one stop from Terminal 2 of NRT airport.

It was really early in the morning and merchants weren’t open yet.

The great thing about Narita town is that there is free Wi-Fi available which makes it very convenient for accessing the internet.

There weren’t many shops open at this hour, but I did find one that was selling souvenirs.
