W Taipei Hotel Review Part 2

As a Starwood Platinum Guest Platinum member, I had chosen breakfast as my welcome amenity. Breakfast was held at the W Taipei’s hotel main lobby restaurant called The Kitchen Table. As with most Asian Starwood hotels, the buffet spread is very international and not your average American breakfast.

I headed to the Kitchen Table at 6:30am in the morning when it opened and I was the very first guest.

I’m a big eater and I had a little bit of everything and finished it off with chocolate ice cream. Yes, ice cream for breakfast.

I spent a hefty 20,000 Starpoints for an award redemption at the W Taipei Hotel and it was worth every Starpoint. Platinum recognition was amazing from the start and I loved how the hotel offers unlimited complimentary cocktails for Platinum members (even Golds too!). The Marvelous Suite was spectacular and the bathroom was simply stunning. I could literally spend all day in my room in the bathtub watching TV while looking at views of the Taipei skyline.

The breakfast at the W Taipei hotel’s Kitchen Table restaurant was simply amazing and everything tasted fresh. You can’t go wrong with ice cream for breakfast and the service was great. The location of the hotel was ideal as well since it’s only a 2 minute walk to the Taipei City Hall MRT station and you can get around easily. I highly recommend the W Taipei hotel and would return in a heartbeat.
