Trip Report: My Mileage Run Vacation to London, Krakow, and Warsaw

This morning, I had an early flight to Warsaw via Philadelphia and London which would be my last international trip of 2014. This is a mileage run vacation where I forced a 12 hour layover in Philadelphia, two 23 hour overnight layovers in London, and I’ll be spending a few days in Krakow and Warsaw since Poland is my final destination. I booked this flight for $660.00 taxes included where I’ll be earning 13,724 elite qualifying miles which will push me over 100,000 EQM’s to re-qualify for American Airlines Executive Platinum status.

My routing is as follows: LAX-PHL-LHR-WAW-KRK-WAW-LHR-PHL-LAX

I’ve also nested in a one-way flight from Warsaw to Krakow on LOT Polish Airlines. I’ll be flying a combination of three different carriers such as US Airways, British Airways, and LOT Polish Airlines. It’s going to be an exciting trip where I’ll get to re-visit previous destinations before I started my Points Summary blog. I’ve previously been to London five times and Warsaw once. This will be my first time to Philadelphia and Krakow which I’m really excited about.

I’ll be documenting my trip throughout Philadelphia, London, Krakow, and Warsaw on various social media outlets.
