New Breakfast Menu at the DFW American Express Centurion Lounge

Earlier this week I had a chance to visit the American Express Centurion Lounge at Dallas Fort Worth Airport again. I’ve previously reviewed this AmEx lounge extensively here, here, and here. Also, I Just Had the Best Shower of My Life at the DFW Centurion Lounge. On my latest visit, I noticed that there were new breakfast offerings which were way better than my previous visits.

All of the following dishes on the breakfast menu are created by Dean Fearing, creator of Fearing’s Restaurant.

Fresh seasonal fruit

Greek Yogurt with House-made Granola and Cereal

Pound Cake and Muffins

Charred Tomatillo and Poblano Salsa and Charred Tomato Salsa

Texas Migas Tacos – Chorizo, Grilled Onions, White Cheddar, Jalapenos, Roasted Tomatoes, Tomatillo Salsa (New)

Chili Braised Short Rib Hash, Fingerling Potatoes, Chile Poblano, Caramelized Onions, Scrambled Eggs (New)

Egg Frittata with Goat Cheese, Caramelized Onion, Savory Herbs, Tomato Ragu (New)

Vanilla French Toast with Mexican Cajeta, Caramelized Pineapple, Burnt Orange Cream (New)

Steel Cut Oatmeal, Cinnamon Sugar, Mexican Cajeta Raisin, Toasted Pecan Mix (New)

I had the Texas Migas Tacos with the Chili Braised Short Rib Hash, and Egg Frittata which were delicious.

I’m a huge fan of the DFW Centurion Lounge and breakfast was definitely upgraded to as many items as lunch/dinner. I’m glad they did away with the two breakfast taco choices which were quite bizarre since they tasted the same to me. The shredded short rib hash was my favorite item on the new breakfast menu. The ragu sauce on the Egg Frittata made a huge difference in terms of taste. Overall, I’m impressed with the new breakfast items.
