Balvanera is a large neighborhood located south of Barrio Recoleta<\/a> in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Balvanera has three separate sub neighborhoods (barrios) which are Abasto, Once, and Congreso. Balvanera is a working class neighborhood where you can find very inexpensive food and shopping. There is also a huge black market with counterfeit goods on the streets of Balvanera.<\/p>\n

I started off in Barrio Abasto where you can find the Abasto Shopping Center and Galeria Malena.<\/p>\n
