To be honest, Polanco is my least favorite neighborhood in Mexico City because it resembles too much like the United States. As I said last year in my Mexico City Sights trip report<\/a>, Polanco is the Beverly Hills of Mexico City. There\u2019s nothing Mexico about having a Bentley and Porsche car dealership right next door to your hotel in Polanco.<\/p>\n

In the middle of Polanco, you can find a large park called Parque Lincoln. It\u2019s got beautiful fountain displays and a great place for wedding pictures.<\/p>\n

Polanco is a very green neighborhood and there are ecobici bikes for rent.<\/p>\n

The major shopping mall in Polanco is called Antara Mall. There are plenty of high end shops and restaurants inside the Antara Mall.<\/p>\n

I like this mall because of the casino called Play City Antara. This is one of the very few casinos in Mexico City where you can make a sports bet. In addition, there is a self-serve non-alcoholic beverage cart.<\/p>\n

In any neighborhood wherever there are service industry workers, there are low cost places to eat. My favorite economic eats are street tacos which can be found near the Auditorio metro station in Polanco.<\/p>\n
