I\u2019ve been to Mexico City so many times and I\u2019ve always wanted to go to a Mexican Wrestling (Lucha Libre) match at Arena Mexico. Most of the fights take place on Fridays which is the best day to go. I\u2019d highly recommend to NOT purchase tickets at Ticketmaster because of the fees. The matches don\u2019t sell out and it\u2019s much better to buy them in person at the box office.<\/p>\n

I took the Mexico City subway to the Cuauhtemoc metro station where it was an eight minute walk to the Arena Mexico.<\/p>\n

I bought the cheapest ticket which was General Admission for 35 pesos ~($2.68 USD).<\/p>\n

I was also handed a program for tonight\u2019s Lucha Libre match.<\/p>\n

There were lots of vendors selling Luchador masks around Arena Mexico.<\/p>\n

I highly recommend street food for a quite bite before the match as there are many nearby street vendors and fast-casual hole in the wall restaurants.<\/p>\n

You can basically sit anywhere in the upper level with a General Admission ticket, so it was a pretty good bargain. I watched the Men\u2019s Lucha Libre first.<\/p>\n
