I\u2019ve extensively reviewed the American Express Centurion Lounge at DFW here<\/a> and here<\/a>. I\u2019m absolutely in love with this lounge because of its sheer beauty and the delicious food offerings. The one thing I never reviewed about this lounge is the shower experience<\/a> because I had just gotten off a red-eye flight from Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

I had access to the DFW Centurion Lounge because of my American Express Platinum Card. Platinum and Centurion cardholders receive complimentary access, while all other American Express cardholders have to pay $50 to use the lounge.<\/p>\n

I got into DFW airport at 6am and was pretty much the first one to be admitted into the Centurion lounge. Again, I absolutely love the modern d\u00e9cor in this lounge.<\/p>\n

There are plenty of computer workstations in the business center along with a shared conference table.<\/p>\n

I asked the front desk for a shower since the first thing I always do is take a shower in the morning.<\/p>\n

The shower facility was quite swanky with flowers and various L’Occitane bath amenities. I felt like I was in a luxury hotel bathroom. There were plenty of paper towers, tissue paper, hand towels, and bath towels.<\/p>\n

The bathroom also contained a toilet which is an absolute must. I absolute hate taking a shower in a lounge when the toilet is not in the same room and in a separate area.<\/p>\n

I had the best shower of my life<\/a>. It felt like the Westin Heavenly Shower with the rainforest shower-head.<\/p>\n

After my shower, I headed to the dining area to see if the breakfast menu had changed from the last time (which did not). Breakfast consisted of fruits, yogurt, cereal, pastries, bread, and muffins.<\/p>\n

The hot selections were chips with salsa, two types of breakfast tacos, and French toast with pineapple syrup.<\/p>\n

I still don\u2019t get why chips and salsa is a breakfast item at the DFW Centurion Lounge. It just doesn\u2019t make sense to me, but who am I to judge. I\u2019m from Los Angeles and it could be part of the Tex\/Mex breakfast culture.<\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t want to fill myself up before my flight to Narita, so I had one of the breakfast tacos and two slices of French toast.<\/p>\n

All in all, I highly recommend a trip to the DFW Centurion Lounge<\/a> if you\u2019re ever transiting through Dallas Fort Worth Airport. If you want to read more reviews of the Amex Centurion Lounges, I visited the Las Vegas Airport Centurion Lounge<\/a> and most recently, the newly opened Centurion Lounge at Buenos Aires Ezeiza International Airport<\/a> in Argentina.<\/p>\n
