I ended up staying one night at the Westin Singapore Hotel<\/a> which is located in the Marina Bay area. The hotel was located right next to the harbor and walking distance to Raffles Place which is the central part of Marina Bay.<\/p>\n

The beautiful skyscrapers in the financial district are just amazing to look at.<\/p>\n

There is a luxury hotel called the Fullerton which is housed in a beautiful historical building.<\/p>\n

There are also many high end shops and restaurants located in Raffles Place. For a traditional and more affordable shopping center, I really like the Vivo City mall located in the Harbourfront Centre.<\/p>\n

You can find sea side restaurants in Marina Bay like the Custom House which is famous for their oyster bar.<\/p>\n

The best thing about the Marina Bay neighborhood is the amazing ocean views of the Marina Bay Sands hotel.<\/p>\n
