I took the MRT (mass rapid transit) from downtown Singapore to the Little India station. The Little India neighborhood of Singapore doesn\u2019t attract much tourism attention because there isn\u2019t much to do. If you\u2019re looking for Indian cuisine or shopping, then you\u2019re in the right place.<\/p>\n

Little India is home to many indoor and outdoor markets for local fresh produce.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a Little India Arcade on Hastings Road where you can find Indian goods and textiles for sale.<\/p>\n

On a typical street in Little India, you can find silk shops and stores that carry items you can only find in India.<\/p>\n

There are also Indian jewelry stores and a pawn shop.<\/p>\n

Little India is home to a Singapore hawker food hall called the Tekka Centre where you can find many Indian specialties.<\/p>\n
