I\u2019ve previously stayed at the Sheraton Libertador Buenos Aires hotel earlier this year<\/a> and got upgraded to the Presidential Suite. I stayed at this hotel again and was quite surprised when I received yet another Presidential Suite upgrade. However, this time, it was a different Presidential Suite layout on a different floor of the Sheraton Libertador. I paid $119 USD plus taxes on a BRG rate and got it further reduced by paying in cash because of the current Argentine Black Market currency arbitrage<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I took the bus from Ezezia Buenos Aires International Airport (EZE) to the city-center where it was a short walk to the Sheraton Libertador in the Microcentro neighborhood<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The lobby was very grand and didn\u2019t feel like a Sheraton at all. It reminded me of an upscale Westin lobby.<\/p>\n

The front desk agent assigned me an upgrade to a Presidential Suite in room 2007. The Sheraton Libertador is known for having a lot of Presidential Suites and usually gives them out as Starwood Platinum upgrades. I\u2019ve gotten it twice in a row without asking for any kind of upgrade at this property.<\/p>\n
