I\u2019ve previously wrote about the Microcentro neighborhood<\/a> when I went to Buenos Aires earlier this year. Microcentro in Spanish translates to \u201csmall city-center\u201d which is Centro Buenos Aires. I love Microcenter because it\u2019s always hustling and bustling through the day filled with all walks of life. It’s also one of the best areas\u00a0to exchange your US dollars for Argentine pesos in the black market<\/a>.<\/p>\n

You can find many theaters in Microcentro such as Teatro El Nacional and the famous Teatro Colon. There is no shortage of theaters that features the musicals, plays, opera, and the famous tango that Buenos Aires is known for.<\/p>\n

Microcentro is also home to many beautiful buildings and shops. You can find lots of shopping to be had on Calle Florida and all around Avenida Corrientes. Calle Florida is a great place to find casa de cambios, but be aware of fake Argentine pesos (double check your notes).<\/p>\n
