I booked the Hilton Princess San Pedro Sula Hotel using 10,800 American Airlines AAdvantage miles on useaamiles.com. The going rate for this hotel was well over $200, so I definitely got more than 2cpm out of my American miles. I had called the property beforehand to add my Hilton HHonors Gold membership number my 3rd party reservation. There\u2019s no guarantee that the hotel will honor elite benefits on a third party stay, but it never hurts to try!<\/p>\n

I walked over to the Hilton Princess San Pedro Sula since it was really close to the InterContinental San Pedro Sula hotel<\/a>. It was the smallest Hilton I\u2019ve ever seen and looked like a boutique hotel.<\/p>\n

I checked into the hotel and was pleasantly upgraded to a room on the executive floor as a Hilton HHonors Gold member. He explained that I would also be given free high speed internet access and access to the Executive Club Lounge for evening appetizers and breakfast.<\/p>\n

I noticed that the hotel also ran a shuttle service to San Pedro Sula International Airport for $12.00 USD per person. The departure times are 5:00am, 5:45am, 8:00am, 9:00am, 10:20am, 11:30am, 1:20pm, and 2:30pm. However, there is no shuttle service from the airport to hotel, so you have to take a $20 USD taxi.<\/p>\n

My room was pretty small and contained a TV, executive work desk, welcome letter, a chair with an ottoman, and a King size bed.<\/p>\n

The bathroom was also small with a shower\/tub combo.<\/p>\n

I had a view of the beautiful San Pedro Sula mountains and the pool.<\/p>\n

The hot selection spread consisted of beef with broccoli, empanadas, and mozzarella sticks.<\/p>\n

There were also mini sandwiches, small dessert bites, bruschetta bites, and various nuts.<\/p>\n

There were also pastries along with a fridge with soft drinks.<\/p>\n

I had a little bit of everything from the hot selections and it made for a great snack.<\/p>\n

I didn’t partake in breakfast in the Club Lounge since I had a really early flight. Staying at the Hilton didn\u2019t make me feel like I was in the most dangerous country in the world. It\u2019s a typical standard Hilton hotel with a boutique vibe. The location is great since it\u2019s walking distance to the City Mall and there are a lot of excellent restaurant options nearby. I would recommend staying at this property since there aren\u2019t many luxury hotels in San Pedro Sula besides the InterContinental\u00a0San Pedro Sula hotel<\/a>.<\/p>\n
