The flying time from American Airlines flight 932 from DFW-GRU (Dallas Fort Worth to Sao Paulo) was 10 hours.<\/p>\n
The Business Class cabin on the Boeing 777-300ER (77W) was in a 1-2-1 configuration with direct aisle access.<\/p>\n My favorite part about the Business Class cabin on the 77W is the two row mini-cabin which occupies rows 3 and 4.<\/p>\n I chose seat 3A which was a window seat and it almost felt like being on a private jet. I would avoid row 4 all together because it\u2019s close to the galley and lavatory.<\/p>\n The completely lie flat seat was very ergonomic with a functional control panel. There was also a reading light, multiple audio\/video outputs, TV remote, and a universal power outlet.<\/p>\n Inside the panel, there was a set of Bose headphones.<\/p>\n There was also an American Airlines amenity kit with a pair of black slippers.<\/p>\n The flight attendant passed through the cabin with a tray of pre-departure beverages such as water, orange juice, mimosa, and champagne. I opted for the champagne.<\/p>\n Menus were passed out prior to departure as well. The Business Class menu reads as follows:<\/p>\n Food connects us to our world. The bathroom was stocked with dermalogica products.<\/p>\n The flight attendant passed out a hot wet towel and shortly thereafter, a ramekin of hot mixed nuts.<\/p>\n As a beverage, I had the usual cranberry vodka with lime and I was delighted when the flight attendant added an extra lime.<\/p>\n The starter consisted of Thai Chicken with grilled five-spice pineapple, watermelon and Asian mint dressing. It was also accompanied by herb bread with a side salad.<\/p>\n For dinner, I had the Pan-seared Halibut wrapped in a banana leaf, served with basmati rice and mixed vegetables.<\/p>\n For dessert, I had the American Airlines signature made to order ice cream sundae with all the toppings.<\/p>\n After dinner service, I watched a movie before falling asleep.<\/p>\n The flight attendant woke me up for breakfast 45 minutes before arrival and I had the American Breakfast which consisted of a three cheese omelette with beef filet served with O\u2019Brien potatoes.<\/p>\n It was a beautiful descent into Sao Paulo\u2019s Guarulhos International Airport (GRU).<\/p>\n This was my first time on the American Airlines Boeing 777-300ER (77W) and I absolutely loved every minute of it. I slept so well that I forgot all about the walk-up bar in the galley which has in-flight food to fulfill your mid-flight cravings.<\/p>\n The service on this flight was excellent and no frills really. It\u2019s a red-eye flight, so flight attendants want to push the meal out quickly so everyone can get some rest. My drinks were being constantly asked to be refilled and the empty plates were being cleared out quickly which are the two things I care about the most on a red-eye flight. The food was excellent as well and I was quite surprised on how delicious the halibut was.
