The reLAX Lounge at LAX International Airport is located\u00a0land-side\u00a0at the Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT). This means that you can enter the reLAX Lounge without a boarding pass and without going through security. I love visiting this lounge when I know I won’t have lounge access when flying United so I can chill at the reLAX Lounge. Even though it’s at the Tom Bradley Terminal, it’s an easy walk to any airline terminal since it’s located in the middle of LAX. The reLAX lounge is located adjacent to Panda Express and is easily spotted by the large signage.<\/p>\n

The reLAX Lounge is not only limited to Priority Pass, but also to cash customers as well. For 1 hour, you can pay $15 per person, 3 hours- $30, and an all day pass is $50. I have Priority Pass select through my American Express Platinum card which grants me free access to the reLAX Lounge.<\/p>\n

I’ve patronized this lounge for the past few years and I’ve seen it go through numerous transformations. Last year, you could see the planes through the open glass windows. Now, it’s been covered with a dry wall since the Tom Bradley Terminal is going through huge renovations. I’d have to say that I miss plane spotting when relaxing at this lounge, but the interiors have been spiffed up to look very modern.<\/p>\n

The food spread is nothing to write home about. It consists of cookies, pastries, chex mix, peanuts, pretzels, cheez-its, mini cold sandwiches, and fruit cups.<\/p>\n

\"relax7\"<\/a> \"relax8\"<\/a> \"relax11\"<\/a> \"relax12\"<\/a> \"relax13\"<\/a> \"relax14\"<\/a> \"relax15\"<\/a><\/p>\n

There is free wifi throughout the reLAX Lounge and it was blazing fast. The wifi password is plastered all around the lounge and there are computers to use if you didn’t bring your own laptop.<\/p>\n

I would highly recommend this lounge if you have Priority Pass since it hardly gets crowded. I talked to the manager briefly about the recent transformation of the reLAX lounge and the Tom Bradley renovation and she brought sad news. Apparently, LAWA (Los Angeles World Airports) bought out the reLAX Lounge and it will no longer be operational after this Summer of 2013. The reLAX Lounge will be demolished and turned into a security checkpoint. The manager told me there were no plans for a new reLAX Lounge. Could this be an end to\u00a0landside\u00a0lounges?<\/p>\n
