The regular rate was $269+ taxes a night, which makes sense using cash and points. To get to the airport shuttle from JFK airport, you need to take the free JFK Airtrain to Federal Circle station. Once you get off at Federal Circle station, proceed to follow the signs for \u201cCourtesy Hotel Shuttles\u201d. I was greeted cheerfully by the front desk agent and had asked for an upgrade to their club rooms since this hotel has no suites. She explained to me where everything is located and asked if I needed a late checkout. I politely declined since I had an early flight the next morning. To use the elevator, you must put in your key card first to enable level 7. Once you exit the elevator, you will walk right through the Club Lounge. It\u2019s New York City after all, and you know how small the rooms get. The room was clean and I had a view of the JFK runway. The hotel bills itself as a business hotel, but having no Wi-Fi access made my stay sour. The employees were not proactive in resolving the situation and did not provide any estimated time to fix the Wi-Fi. Initially when I called, the operator just said \u201cThe Wi-Fi is down\u201d and hung up. I went to bed and woke up in the middle of the night to call again and the operator gave me the same response, but gave no ETA. When checking out, the front desk agents asked me \u201cHow was my stay?\u201d and I responded \u201cThe Wi-Fi was down for 10 hours\u201d and they\u00a0didn&#8217;t\u00a0apologize. \u00a0They just said have a great flight and see you soon, which left me with a sour taste. I just wanted to get out of the hotel as rapidly as possible and get into the Admiral\u2019s Club airport lounge for Wi-Fi access.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m having mixed feelings about this hotel, but everything was going great until the Wi-Fi went down. Other than that, the hotel is convenient and it\u2019s a no frills airport hotel.
