I booked the W Santiago Hotel for 4,800 Starpoints and $90 before the March 1st Starwood Cash & Points devaluation. The W Santiago is located in the swanky Las Condes neighborhood of Santiago, Chile. I took the Metro subway from the Pedro de Valdivia station (nearby Sheraton Santiago & San Cristobal Tower) to the El Golf station (nearby W Santiago). It\u2019s only a 10 minute walk from the El Golf station to the hotel.<\/p>\n

Upon entering the W Santiago, I was floored by the highly decorated lobby. This was by far the most modern hotel lobby I\u2019ve ever been to.<\/p>\n

I checked into the hotel at around 5pm and the front desk agent told me that I was upgraded to a Marvelous Suite. I had already known that because I used a Suite Night Award and was confirmed 5 days prior. I took the 500 Starpoints as my Platinum amenity and advised the agent I would need a 4pm late checkout and she didn\u2019t hesitate to put it through.<\/p>\n
