From there, it was a ten minute walk to the base of Sugarloaf Mountain. I didn&#8217;t realize I had spent so much time in El Centro and the traffic in Rio is terrible. It costs R$53 for a round-trip on the cable car and R$23 for children. Apparently there is an unsigned trail where you can hike up to the second station and pay \u00a0R$22 to reach the top.\u00a0 If you do this method, it is free to descend after 7pm.<\/p>\n<p>Here are
