According to my local favela tour guide Eddie, he said they mostly start out as children. He said that growing up in a favela as a child is tough burdened by limited resources and poverty. The good thing about Rocinha is that it\u2019s in a favela revolution. My guide Eddie absolutely loves Rocinha and its beloved children.
